Apparently not satisfied with his fame, Berry Gordy of MOTOWN announced at the Michael Jackson Staples Center Death Ceremony: “We competed on everything…I was just whistling these songs that *I had* made up.  We called in these unknowns.  What do you have?  The only time an artistic group, the Jackson 5, had began its career with four #1 hit songs.”

Berry takes credit for the Jackson Five’s greatest song. Wow, no one noticed this arrogance.

Then again, he did call Michael, “The greatest entertainer who ever lived.” As hyperbolic and sarcastic though it may read, if you watch Berry in the video he does seem sincere about that part.

Earvin “Magic ” Johnson and Kobe Bryant are humble men by comparison, as seen in the video of their part in the classy tribute. THEY call him a genius – Gordy calls HIMSELF a genius. Go figure. The Magic commentary about the Kentucky Fried Chicken is truly funny.

The song will live on for as long as pop music is popular, which will be until WWIII ends.

Speeds of “The Candyman” & “Rockin’ Robin”- The Late Greats Sammy Davis, Jr. and Michael Joe Jackson- “Who can take tomorrow, dip it in a dream, suck off the sorrow and swallow all the cream?”

AUTHOR’S NOTE: This article was written and the tempo maps and measurements taken as dated, in other words, long before the death of Michael Jackson – I have left all comments as they were in their original form.

Michael Jackson is a performing and composing genius. Say whatever you want about his invaded personal life. I say to anybody, especially myself – if every skeleton in my closet were exposed for the world to see, with no chance of editing that which may or may not be true – would you cast the first stone at me, standing accused of crimes of moral turpitude? Have you kept a sparkling closet? If you have, I fear you. *Everyone* has their demons, I think.
